In this Broadcast Award-winning, BAFTA and Emmy® Award-nominated entertainment format, The Taskmaster and his personal assistant set five top comedians a series of bizarre, tricky and often ingenious tasks, which push them to the limits of comic invention. With their personal possessions up for grabs, they have everything to play for, especially their dignity.

Taskmaster started out as a critically acclaimed live show, devised by 2014 Foster’s Comedy Award nominee ALEX HORNE, which ran at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2010 and 2011. It is now an award-winning TV series, hit international format and growing brand.

The UK original version of Taskmaster is the number one entertainment show on Dave (UKTV) and audiences have grown by more than 80% since the first season in 2015. The programme and format combined have been sold into 106 countries. Over 100 episodes of the format have been commissioned outside of the UK with local versions airing in territories including; USA, Sweden, Denmark, Spain, Belgium, Norway and Finland. Avalon Television Inc produced the American version of Taskmaster for Comedy Central with stand-up comedian REGGIE WATTS (The Late, Late Show with James Corden) as the Taskmaster and ALEX HORNE as his loyal assistant.
